Southern New England Area Director

If you love Israel, understand politics, possess leadership skills, and you can sell, this is an exceptional opportunity. The Southern New England Area Director is based in the New England Region's Boston headquarters. The successful candidate will represent AIPAC throughout Rhode Island and Connecticut (except Fairfield County), one of the most dynamic pro-Israel communities in the United States.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage and grow the annual fundraising campaign and participation in national AIPAC initiatives
  
• Solicit major donors
  
• Develop new relationships and procure leadership level gifts
  
• Generate increased pro-Israel political activism
  
• Oversee local leadership councils
  
• Plan educational meetings and events
  
• Represent AIPAC throughout the community
  
• Brief large and small gatherings of activists
  
• Attend local events
  
• Meet with local leaders and professionals

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or commensurate experience
  
• Five years' work experience in related field
  
• Passion for Israel and a strong U.S.-Israel relationship
  
• Experience with face-to-face solicitations or sales
  
• Public speaking ability and strong communications skills
  
• Entrepreneurial attitude
  
• Experience with annual campaign preferred
  
• Knowledge of U.S. politics highly desirable
