Behavioral Health Resources (BHR) in Olympia, WA is hiring a new Manager, Accounting & Finance.
BHR supports and strengthens individuals, families, and the community by promoting mental health and chemical dependency recovery. Through treatment, education and advocacy, BHR is a leader in addressing and meeting the changing needs of its community.
Reporting to the chief executive officer, the Manager, Accounting & Finance is responsible for maintaining the integrity of internal accounting processes and controls that govern BHR’s accounting practices including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing and collection, and the payeeship/trust function. The Manager, Accounting & Finance works closely with his or her peers on the leadership team to provide support for finance-related functions, and handling special projects as assigned by the CEO. As a part of the BHR management team, the Manager, Accounting & Finance is responsible for communicating effectively and professionally with other staff members, and ensuring the facilitation of a smooth-running, efficient organization that provides a positive work environment for employees.
Candidates must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or a closely related field, and have a minimum of 3 years of experience in finance, accounting, and/or business administration. A CPA is highly desirable as is direct experience working for a CPA firm.
