Morton Arboretum - Donor Events and Communications Manager
Manage and implement all donor events, including the annual Dinner Party, and manage all donor communication strategies.
Job Qualifications
Previous Training and Experience: Fundraising professional with a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and three years of development experience. Demonstrated Special Event experience required. Strong writing skills and proficiency in word-processing, spreadsheet and database are essential. Knowledge of Blackbaud software preferred.
Physical/Mental Requirements: Qualified candidates will have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills to function successfully in a professional team structure. Candidates should also have the ability to build positive relationships with volunteers, donors and staff. This position requires the ability to be responsive and flexible in a dynamic and evolving organization. Must be able to work independently and collaboratively to handle multiple projects and deadlines. High degree of confidentiality required. Attendance at special events requires occasional evening and weekend work.
Working Conditions
1. Work is performed primarily in a fast paced office setting. Occasional outdoor work is required.
2. Requires some physical activity including the ability to lift 20 lbs. and may require long periods of sitting. Application Instructions
