We are seeking an organized and motivated professional to join our team as an Associate. The Associate will work closely with the Program Team and assist with the organization, marketing, delivery, and tracking of outcomes for all programs designed for nonprofit and corporate partners, including Celebration, Board Advancement, Get on Board, Fund of Funds, and the Venture Forward Conference.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Help manage the Celebration Program
- Help manage Celebration nonprofit partner recruitment and retention efforts
- Provide support for Celebration revenue processes
- Manage the development and delivery of marketing materials
- Help prepare and present materials for workshops, seminars, and events
- Assist with the update, review, and delivery of curricula and tools for nonprofits
Help manage Fund of Funds Program
- Assist the Senior Associate Director to develop, review, and monitor the grant-making process
- Schedule all necessary meetings with the Grants Committee, Grant Monitors, and partner nonprofits
- Assist with tracking and updating program metrics and goals
Partner Network
- Manage all communications with partner nonprofits
- Manage annual application process
- Make updates to marketing program-related materials
- Provide support for special initiatives as they become available to partner nonprofits
Administration
- Manage logistics for other workshops, seminars, meetings, and events (including nonprofit conference and large-scale fundraising event)
Manage Database
- Maintain current, accurate records of nonprofit and corporate constituents
- Track and update program metrics and goals
- Assist with critical aspects of annual events, including board fair, nonprofit conference, and large-scale fundraising event
- Assist with other Youth, I.N.C. programs as needed
- Assist with general office management as required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years professional experience in the nonprofit and /or corporate sector. Fundraising experience a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail and deadlines
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Public speaking experience desirable
- Excellent interpersonal skills – able to form relationships with diverse groups of people
- Excellent computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; familiarity with databases desirable
- Self-starter who can manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Desire to succeed in a dynamic, demanding, self-driven work place
