New Destiny Housing Corporation - Individual Donor Manager
Since 1994, New Destiny has focused its efforts on increasing housing resources for low-income families and individuals at risk of domestic violence and homelessness with a goal of promoting the long-term safety and stability for domestic violence victims. It has developed 13 residential projects that house over 400 households a year. New Destiny’s service-enriched housing model integrates on-site services with permanent housing – helping vulnerable families to stabilize and thrive. New Destiny has developed HousingLink, a housing resource center that offers counseling, training, and information to help domestic violence survivors find and retain safe, affordable housing. Finally, New Destiny collects housing data and engages in research that informs education and advocacy efforts. Working in conjunction with other organizations as well as on its own, New Destiny has helped shape public programs and provided feedback on the effects of existing policies and programs aimed at serving low-income domestic violence survivors.
