Under the direction of the Vice President for Institutional Advancement and Research, the Managing Assistant Director of Annual Giving is responsible for managing the implementation of all annual giving solicitations, including direct mail, telemarketing and email solicitations to over 70,000 alumni and non-alumni donors to increase the amount of donors and funds raised for the Kean University Foundation. Working with the Vice President, s/he is responsible for increasing awareness and support of the annual fund with all constituent groups including alumni, students, faculty and staff, parents and recent graduates.
Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited college with a Bachelor's degree and two years of professional experience in an institution of higher education, non-profit organization or other related field required. Preference will be given to individuals with experience in development with non-profit experience. Candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Experience with Raiser's Edge preferred.
