Database Manager

Bend the Arc: A Jewish Partnership for Justice is seeking a full-time Database Manager in its New York City office. Reporting to the Director of Development, the Database Manager is responsible for maintaining all in-house databases.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Data entry and ongoing maintenance of donor records.
• Provide ongoing support to staff in contact management, income and event tracking.
• Continue to both utilize and optimize the capabilities of Convio Common Ground CRM System and online integration systems.
• Work with all staff members to ensure optimal utilization of Convio Common Ground CRM System capabilities to maintain contact records appropriately and effectively.
• Provide ongoing training and support in establishing organizational data entry procedures.
• Maintain a high level of data integrity.
• Manage special event registrations, including donor tracking and on-site event registration.
• Oversee production of acknowledgement and other donor correspondence.
• Produce mailing lists, data queries, exports and reports.
• Work with the finance department on budget and income reporting and reconciliation.
• Oversee data transfers between Convio Common Ground donor database and Convio GetActive email advocacy application using Convio Connector.
• Perform periodic data enhancement and import projects and research new sources for data enrichment.
• Provide other assistance to development efforts as required.

Qualifications:

• Professional demeanor and discretion in handling donor information;
• Ability to perform multiple and complex tasks, which can include technical and confidential information;
• Superior computer and database management skills, including proficiency in Word and Excel;
• Self-starter, extremely well-organized with strong oral, written, interpersonal and administrative skills;
• Willingness to work in a team environment; and
• Commitment to the mission of Bend the Arc.

Salary and Benefits: Dependent upon experience, within the parameters of Bend the Arc salary scale. Excellent benefits.
