The American Federation of Arts seeks an Associate Director for Finance and Operations to administer all aspects of financial management and operations.
The ADF will supervise all financial operations including: tax reports and preparations, payroll, accounts payable and receivable, financial reports and budget management including preparing financial reports for the board. The ADF will also supervise all financial and administrative operational staff members including management of human resources and benefits, IT, and general building needs.
The Associate Director for Finance and Operations is a key member of the senior staff and should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Equivalent, MBA or CPA preferred. A minimum of five years related experience is essential, ideally in an arts non-profit setting. He/she must be detail-oriented, an analytic and strategic thinker, decisive, capable and resourceful in his/her approach to managing financial issues. Must possess excellent management, communication, and problem solving skills.
Salary: $70,000-75,000
