The Director of Advancement is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive special and major gifts fundraising program to generate private gift support for the Salem and East Liverpool Campuses in Columbiana County. He/She is also directly responsible for managing a portfolio of prospects. This position reports to the Executive Director of Advancement, Regional Campuses & Special Programs.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field; three - four years progressively responsible fundraising and/or sales experience is required. Experience in higher education fundraising is preferred. Exceptional oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Last year the Institutional Advancement office completed the university’s Centennial Campaign and raised a record-breaking $265 million, surpassing its goal by $15 million.
