Development Officer

92nd Street Y has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and successful individual giving/major gifts fundraiser to join our Development team. We are looking for someone who has a proven track record in achieving and exceeding annual donor income generation targets as well as stewarding gifts effectively once they are secured. An individual who can identify and cultivate support from new prospects as well as building on and increasing revenue from 92Y’s existing donors.

The successful candidate will have at least 5 years previous experience of major/individual gift fundraising in a fast-paced complex institution. The ability to act with discretion, self assurance and diplomacy is of the upmost importance along with being a skilled communicator with a talent for making compelling and engaging proposals.
