ROLE PURPOSE:
The Grants Administrator/Executive Assistant will be responsible for supporting the CSR Group and the department SVP. The role will help administer the company’s comprehensive charitable contributions process as well as provide general executive support to the CSR SVP.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as administrator for new online grant management system (GIFTS) to track company-wide contributions, which include: foundation grants, charitable contributions and pro-social/in-kind activation
- Process all charitable contribution requests across business units and maintain integrity of data
- Participate in review of proposals; ensure compliance of giving guidelines
- Prepare weekly grant reports for senior management
- Regularly interact with finance, accounts payable and other departments to ensure timely processing of payments and troubleshoot any issues
- Act as primary contact for grant inquiries/requests and ensure timely and appropriate response
- Provide admin support to department SVP
- Manage SVP and other department scheduling and meeting planning
- Assist SVP and finance manager on department budget administration and invoice processing
- Responsible for basic office support (to include supplies, vendor contracts, IT assistance etc.)
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 2 years of experience with MicroEdge GIFTS Online
- Bachelor's Degree or related experience
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Powerpoint
- Proven experience with handling budgets and general knowledge of financial functions
- Proven track record and keen interest in serving our communities
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work well in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
- Multi-task oriented, strong organizational process and time management skills
- Must be highly organized and efficient
- Team player willing to pitch in on ad hoc projects as needed
