Museum of Jewish Heritage - Manager of Major Gifts
The Museum of Jewish Heritage – A Living Memorial to the Holocaust is seeking a seasoned fundraising professional to manage and cultivate relationships, solicit gifts and provide stewardship for ongoing support. Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, the Manager of Major Gifts will develop effective strategies for working with leadership and staff to identify prospects and customize cultivation and solicitation activities for annual campaign, exhibition support, endowment and planned giving.
Candidates must have: BA/BS in related field; at least 5 years of non-profit fundraising and program development experience that includes successful direct solicitation of individuals; good computer skills (knowledge of Raiser’s Edge preferred); knowledge of Jewish philanthropic community; superior communication and organization skills; strong ability to cultivate relationships with colleagues and donors; a calm and friendly demeanor; ability to multitask; and commitment to the Museum.
