Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts - Manager, Individual Giving
Reporting to the Assistant Director, Individual Giving, this position’s primary responsibility is the manage the Chairman’s Council, a membership program that contains 330+ donors who offer an annual gift ranging from $3000 to $15,000. Primary responsibilities include:

Plan and execute all renewal and acquisition campaigns

Prepare and process donor correspondence including renewal solicitations, acquisition mailings, and acknowledgement letters

Handle telephone and email follow up on all solicitations

Update and maintain all Chairman’s Council records in the database

Track gifts regularly and provide weekly fundraising reports; maintain monthly renewal schedule

Work with Patrons Desk staff regarding solicitations/upgrade opportunities

Write and mail quarterly donor newsletter

Handle additional gift appeals

Staff cultivation and stewardship events as needed; host table at donor dinners

Build and maintain relationships with Chairman’s Council members

Conduct research on current and prospective donors; identify current donor interests for potential major gift opportunities

Proactively review current and prospective donor lists and work with senior staff to devise cultivation, stewardship, and solicitation strategies

Manage and update bios to distribute before Chairman’s Council donor dinners (one week prior to the event)

Assist with invitation lists for Chairman’s Council cultivation events and tracking advance RSVPS (typically 5 weeks before the event)
Management of this program will occupy about 70% of the work day. The balance will be comprised of special research and writing projects as directed.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will have 3 years experience in a development office, interest in the performing arts, strong deductive reasoning skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a desire to work with a fast paced and talented team of development professionals.
