Director, College Alumni Relations

The Columbia College Office of Alumni Affairs & Development at Columbia University is seeking a Director of College Alumni Relations. Reporting to the Senior Executive Director of Alumni Relations and Communications, the Director, College Alumni Relations is engaged in the leadership, strategic planning, innovation and effective management of the alumni relations program. The director will lead a team, oversee the day-to-day operation of the unit, and provide a level of professional development and structure for the dissemination of information. S/he is responsible for implementing the goals of the division and other strategic initiatives and will work to foster a sense of cooperation with other units within the College and University to develop programming that engages alumni and student across academic, career and extracurricular interests. The director is an alumni relations professional and is an independent and team worker, well-versed in alumni relations activities and best practices concerning programming and communications. The director will be a member of the SED's Senior Staff team.

A Bachelor's degree and a minimum of five years of direct alumni relations experience required
