Headquartered in Issaquah, Washington and Washington, D.C., CSF has over 12 years of proven experience, inspiring underserved, low-income students to finish high school by providing the unique integrated system of programs and scholarships they need to graduate college and succeed in life.

Position Summary:
This is a rare opportunity for a dynamic leader to guide the mission, success, and national scale of the Foundation to its next phase of growth, impact, and achievement for students. As the CSF’s second leader, the new President/CEO will be responsible for the integration of the Foundation’s development, programmatic, and operational elements. Key priorities include: fundraising, continuous improvement and replication of the Model of Success, Board engagement, and brand leadership.
Ideal Profile/Key competencies:
The President/CEO has the passion for promoting the educational success of underserved youth, as demonstrated by Board affiliations, past positions, and personal giving.
Key competencies, ideal qualifications, and characteristics include:
- Fundraising: leveraging existing and establishing new sustainable funding sources and the vision to consider alternative funding and monetization models and opportunities
- Leadership: public, nonprofit, or business senior leadership experience
- Respected public presence: experience or familiarity with government and public affairs, personal gravitas and credibility with corporate executives, public officials, key donors, and excellent public speaking skills
- Effective manager: ability to partner with and influence CSF founders, the CSF chairman, and the CSF Board of Directors, inspire confidence and respect with staff and stakeholders, and a demonstrated aptitude to manage a multimillion-dollar budget

Minimum Qualifications:
We seek a minimum of 10 years of contemporary leadership experience in dynamic and growing organizations. Leadership in public, nonprofit, or business settings is needed. Demonstrated success in fundraising is essential. A background that includes serving as a key spokesperson of an organization and reporting to or serving on a high profile Board of Directors is an asset. A bachelor’s degree is required. An advanced degree and a willingness to serve for 5+ years is strongly preferred.
