Long a national leader in nursing education – and ranked among the top two percent of nursing schools in the nation by US News and World Report – the University of Virginia School of Nursing is readying the next generation of practitioners, researchers and faculty in a time of exciting, dramatic change in health care.
The Associate Director of Annual Giving will support the School of Nursing by identifying, recruiting, cultivating and soliciting individuals to provide financial support, with primary focus on unrestricted annual gifts. The Associate Director will also coordinate the leadership annual giving program, direct mail and Phonathon programs, and maintain appropriate accounting and stewardship protocols for annual fund gifts, as well as face-to-face visits with prospects and donors.
Frequent travel will be required as well as some evening and weekend work.
Salary and benefits are competitive depending on qualifications. This position has University Staff status with excellent benefits, including 22 days of vacation and TIAA/CREF and other retirement plans. Application Instructions
