The AIPAC Tomorrow Campaign (ATC), an endowment and planned giving program, is seeking a highly energetic, creative individual to oversee all aspects of marketing for the endowment program. This ranges from advancing our current marketing strategies to the development of effective marketing, tracking and analysis tools. This hands-on position includes acting as the internal coordinator for the AIPAC Tomorrow Campaign’s presence at national and regional events and on AIPAC’s web-site. This position will also be responsible for the development of long term strategy including messaging, print pieces, special projects and programs to keep the legacy program relevant within our target audiences.
The proper candidate for this position will possess maturity, creativity, writing and computer skills, initiative, and a passion for the organization’s mission to strengthen the U.S.-Israel relationship.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day endowment department marketing operations.
- Develop an effective marketing plan containing a time-line displaying legacy outreach to our varied constituents, budget projections and review methods.
- Research, maintain and report on marketing data to aid management in determining marketing direction.
- Develop, oversee design and create endowment marketing materials for quarterly newsletters, direct mail, event remarks, donor recognition publications and pieces, and mailings to donors and prospects.
- Oversee coordination between The AIPAC Tomorrow team and AIPAC’s Marketing and Creative Services, Development, and National Events departments.
- Write speeches, pitches, correspondence, presentations, and donor testimonials. Interview donors to provide assistance with their written testimonials and/or presentations.
- Work closely with AIPAC’s regional staff to ensure that the endowment message and marketing materials are received and incorporated into their programs and events when appropriate.
- Plan Endowment programming and messaging at national and regional events in coordination with National and Regional staff.
- Work with outside vendors for external marketing on a per project basis.
- Maintain the Planned Giving section of the AIPAC website, including updating current text as needed as well as tracking its usage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or commensurate experience, marketing major preferred
- Minimum 5 years' marketing experience; development and endowment experience preferred
- Passion for a strong U.S.-Israel relationship required
- Ability to take initiative, ensure follow through on projects and work as the marketing leader within the team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
- Able to effectively communicate with staff and work with outside vendors
- Must be proactive and self-motivated
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe InDesign required
