Senior Advancement Officer

Build prospect and donor relationships, raise financial support and increase the donor base for Pepperdine's School of Law. This position focuses on major level donors with a capacity of $25,000 to $1,000,000 gifts, and carries a portfolio of 150 prospects.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree; strong commitment to and understanding of the mission of Pepperdine University. Preferred Qualifications: Juris Doctorate degree; Proven success in closing major gifts; Three to five years of major gift fundraising experience preferred, particularly in a higher education or other nonprofit environment; management/employee supervision experience.

Qualified individuals should be able to articulate a strong commitment to diversity, and have the ability to work effectively with individuals from different backgrounds.

Must be able to drive personal vehicle for University business (mileage reimbursed) and hold a valid California Driver's License with current insurance, and a clean driving record.
