Action Against Hunger - Creative Services Associate
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The global humanitarian organization ACTION AGAINST HUNGER seeks a Creative Services Associate with excellent writing and editing skills to help develop a range of donor-driven publications, reports, and promotional materials; manage design files and edits, liaise with graphic designers, and oversee all print production; produce on- and offline fundraising content; manage ACF’s direct mail portfolio; and contribute to other creative services relevant to donor engagement, constituency-building, and general marketing.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Produce Donor Engagement Content: research, report, write and edit fundraising copy and donor-specific blog content, donor acknowledgment letters and outreach mailings, and other fundraising copy as needed.

Manage Print Collateral Design & Layout: manage, edit, and package print templates (Adobe InDesign) for production houses and online publishing—agency financials, program updates and donor reports, marketing brochures, event materials, etc.

Manage Print Projects: provide support for all agency print needs, work with external print & production broker and designers to ensure timely, cost-effective production of quality ACF materials.

Manage Direct Mail Portfolio: as principal liaison for direct mail consultants, implement marketing strategy, leverage internal resources, provide timely feedback on mailings, and ongoing analysis.

Graphic Design, Creative Support & Digital Asset Management: support agency’s graphic design needs across all marketing channels, lead in digital asset management (e.g., design files, print resources, photo and video libraries, etc.), and ensure compliance with agency branding strategies.

Integrated Marketing Strategy: identify audiences and donor segments for cross-channel outreach initiatives, including year-end fundraising efforts, emergency appeals, and routine fundraising campaigns.
REQUIREMENTS:
-
Excellent writing and editing skills, keen attention to detail
-
Familiarity with professional design standards
-
Proficiency with layout design software (Adobe InDesign, Creative Suite 5, etc.)

Proven academic or commercial experience in print design and layout
-
2-3 years of professional experience, preferably in direct marketing or donor outreach.
PREFERRED:
-
Background in communications, journalism, or marketing a plus
-
Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop experience a plus

Facility with written French or Spanish
-
Some prior knowledge of or experience in the humanitarian sector.
