Director of Planning, Research, and Program Development

Shift: M-F, 8:00am – 5:00pm, hrs may vary
Salary Range: $5,697 - $8,027/month DOE
Status: Regular, FT, 40hrs/week

Position Summary:
Under direct supervision of the Chief Executive Officer develops and implements the Community Action Partnership’s (CAPSLO) planning process, oversees grant research, writing, submission and tracking. Directs and coordinates the preparation of various community assessments and needs assessments as required. Tracks compliance information and completes reporting requirements of Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) and other grants.

Minimum Educational and Experience Requirements:
1. Must have a BA/BS in Social Sciences or related field and have completed courses in finance, contracts, leases, business or public administration, planning, or business experience. Master’s degree preferred.
2. Progressive experience in management of and overview of grant writing responsibilities. Demonstrated successes in securing various programs and economic development funding.
3. Five (5) years senior management level experience in human services, social sciences, public administration, Community Action Partnership or nonprofit administration, 1 year of which must be in a supervisory capacity, to include organizing and coordinating administrative activities, and the development and managing of budgets. Experience in working with federal, state and local governments and private funding sources.
