Accounting Intern
EAI is seeking an Accounting Intern to assist the Finance and Accounting department with day to day operations.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Check, verify expense receipts with expense reports;
- Verify G/L accounts reported in financial statements to ensure reporting accuracy;
- Maintain financial files;
- Verify, allocate, and post details to subsidiary accounts in journals or computer files;
- Prepare analysis of accounts as required;
- Assist in monthly closings and special projects, as necessary.
Reporting Relationship:
Reports to the Controller
Qualifications:
Education: Currently enroll in an accredited college/university in a Senior year working toward an accounting degree. Educational credit available for work completed.
Experience: No experience required.
Knowledge, Skills and Ability:
Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills
French speaker highly desirable, but not required
Applicants must commit to 15-20 hours per week for a minimum of 6 months. This is an unpaid internship, but a travel allowance of up to $100 per month is available. Application Instructions
