American Austrian Foundation - Administrative Assistant (Part-Time)
The New York office of The American Austrian Foundation is seeking a highly organized and outgoing individual to provide administrative support for our programs and annual benefit.
The American Austrian Foundation is a non-profit, non-governmental organization working to enhance the relationship between the United States and Austria through exchanges in medicine, science, media and the arts. For more information on our programs, please visit www.aaf-online.org.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Travel coordination and itinerary management for the AAF’s Open Medical Institute program in Salzburg, Austria

Working collaboratively with senior colleagues to plan and execute all aspects of the annual Music for Medicine benefit concert and dinner, scheduled for Thursday, November 15th

Database maintenance and coordination of e-blasts
-
Assisting senior colleagues with administrative support and special projects as necessary.

Providing backup for other team members as needed
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
-
1-2 years’ experience in a professional environment
-
Strong oral and written communication skills
-
Multi-tasker, detail-oriented with good interpersonal skills
-
Proficient in MS Office; proficiency or experience with Adobe InDesign a big plus
-
Ability to follow directions with a high level of accuracy

German/English bilingual a plus, but not a requirement
-
Strong team player who is also capable of working independently
Hours & Compensation:
-
20-25 hours per week
-
$15-$20 per hour, commensurate with experience
