CHAI is seeking individuals to assist in the development and implementation of Management Control Systems in order to improve operational efficiency and establish minimum operating standards to consistently address core compliance and financial risks. Towards that end, the individual will be part of a team that develops and implements finance, operations and HR systems and operational guidelines to ensure integration with global policies and procedures and compliance with local laws/regulations.
Responsibilities:
Collect data and other quantifiable information through primary and secondary research
- Support global team and CHAI India MD in developing and validating finance, operational and HR systems
- Develop an operational manual for CHAI India office that is in consonance with global policies and local laws/regulations and covers the following areas: -
- Finance
- Human resources
- Safety and Security
- Contracts & Compliance
- Support the development of communication and on boarding materials
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of Management Control Systems
- Strong analytical and research skills, including significant experience of administrative/financial and management function
- Strong writing and synthesis skills
- Excellent organizational and problem solving skills
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to prepare compelling presentations
- Ability to multi-task and to be effective in high-pressure situations
- Ability to absorb and synthesize a broad range of information, including technical information
- Ability to work independently on complex projects and proactively manage projects with minimal supervision
