Colorado Trust - Research and Evaluation Officer
The Colorado Trust is a statewide grantmaking foundation dedicated to advancing the health and well-being of the people of Colorado. The Trust is seeking a Research & Evaluation Officer. Reporting to the Director of Research, Evaluation & Strategic Learning, the Research & Evaluation Officer will have primary responsibility for the analysis of secondary research and evaluation data to help inform The Trust in strategic grantmaking, evaluation designs, and trends and indicators to increase knowledge and understanding of the impact of the foundation’s grantmaking. The individual in this position will also be responsible for facilitating the useful application of research and evaluation data to internal and external groups and disseminating evaluation results to multiple audiences, including those not familiar with research terminology.
Minimum Requirements: An advanced degree(s) in fields such as public health or the social sciences and at least four years post graduate relevant work experience. Experience and comfort analyzing quantitative data and familiarity with at least one quantitative analytic software package such as SAS or Stata. Must have experience conducting evaluations or being on evaluation teams where results led to actionable information. Experience with data visualization preferred. Strong communication skills (both written and oral), critical thinking skills and ability to work well independently and in a team environment required.
