TITLE: Director of Development
OPPORTUNITY:
Are you a fundraising specialist or generalist with 7+ years of experience? Are you looking to be the lead development professional in a growing and dynamic nonprofit with a deep dedication to its mission? As the Director of Development you will be the senior fundraising professional in partnership with the Executive Director. You will help build the organization’s comprehensive individual donor program and oversee a successful institutional giving program all while managing the progress of the department’s growth.
For fundraising leaders/managers able to successfully shift gears between the big picture and the smallest details, that possess a track record of creative and solid fundraising experience, this may be your next career move.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree (Master's Degree preferred), 5+ years of senior management fundraising experience. A strong strategic capacity, excellent verbal and written communication skills, political acumen and a sense of humor are a must.
