Job Summary
Serve as an integral member of a team of professionals responsible for strategic analysis, prospect research and prospect management who provide information, analysis and management tools to support effective fundraising and alumni relations programs.
Day-to-day data role includes extracting raw data from the system, performing data transformations (e.g. transpositions, denormalizing datasets), aggregating and synthesizing the results, preparing custom and ad-hoc reports, spreadsheets, graphs and charts, and compiling the results of the analysis into clear, concise and compelling PowerPoint presentations for senior management.
Gain expertise in extracting data from the Advance Web (Griffin) database and Business Objects (WebI) and in applying standard criteria and business rules for reporting. Use Griffin and WebI to design and manage the production of regular reports.
Collaborate with senior members of the team across a range of projects to support effective metrics for tracking and measuring progress to goals, statistical modeling, custom analysis and other projects. Help expand the pool of prospective donors at all levels to the University.
Manage projects from conception through fruition. Work with senior staff to understand key business objectives. Seek opportunities for professional development that will enhance job performance. Perform other duties as assigned.
Education
Bachelor's degree or higher required.
Experience
A minimum two years of professional work experience in donor relations, fundraising, research, nonprofit management, alumni relations, marketing, public relations or similar work required. Application Instructions
