Theatre for a New Audience - Grants Manager
Theatre for a New Audience, New York City: Immediate opening for a full-time staff position for experienced professional fund raiser to significantly impact annual fundraising efforts from Foundation, Corporate and Government sources for award-winning, Off-Broadway classical theatre with $3.8 million annual budget (two-thirds of which is contributed).
Successful candidate will be a seasoned and energetic professional with a minimum of three years’ experience with grant writing, grants management, and prospect research and will possess a proven track record in raising support from foundation, corporate and government sources. This is a hands-on position reporting to the Director of Development that requires a self-starter with exceptional writing, communication and organizational skills, including the ability to meet with prospective and current funders.
This position also requires strong computer skills (Microsoft Office as well as Blackbaud Raisers Edge). Previous experience with non-profit fundraising required; interest, knowledge and background in theatre a plus.
