Chief Executive Officer

Easter Seals Hawai’i seeks a Chief Executive Officer to serve as the key strategist that will develop and continually evolve a keen sense and understanding of the communities’ needs and of the opportunities to provide the greatest service. S/he will use this knowledge to develop strategies that position ESH as the leading provider of services to persons with disabilities in the State. The CEO will ensure the financial and operational health of ESH by developing and constantly adjusting a successful business model. It is one of the largest nonprofits in the state but the needs of our clients, potential clients and their families require us to grow aggressively, and sustainably.

Ideal candidates will bring a demonstrated capacity to build and grow an already strong organization into its next chapter, identify challenges and opportunities and act as an external champion and internal mentor to the board and staff. S/he must be able to both lead and manage, bringing technical competence, strategic vision, and articulate engagement to the work at hand. A track record of leading a similar sized and aligned organization would be a tremendous plus.
