Lutheran Healthcare is a state-of-the-art, nationally recognized health system comprised of a 476-bed teaching hospital, multi-site ambulatory care network, Level I Trauma Center, and strong academic affiliation to SUNY Health Science Center at Brooklyn.
As a key member of our external affairs team you will play an integral role in executing the approved Operating Plan as it relates to donor stewardship, special donor cultivation and recognition events.
- reporting to funders
- gathering information for funding proposals
- ensuring that all efforts are in coordination with LMC’s major fundraising components
- handling other related functions as needed
To qualify, you must have a Bachelor’s Degree and at least 5 years of related experience, including 2+ years within a not-for-profit setting with work in fundraising or institutional advancement. Candidate should be a self-starter with superior oral/written communication, problem-solving, multitasking and PC skills. Bilingual English and any second language preferred.
