Weill Cornell Medical College seeks a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to identify, cultivate and solicit principal gifts of $1 million and higher: manage a portfolio of up to 100 prospects at the $5 million or above level; build and nurture working relationships with faculty, administration, volunteers and staff; manage volunteer initiatives including events or committees; serve as spokesperson and representative for Weill Cornell Medical College; ensure acknowledgement and recognition of principal gifts; manage stewardship activities for principal gift contributors, including reports and recognition events; hire and supervise one or more development associates.

Requirements: Seven years of progressive development experience with demonstrated success soliciting and closing gifts in excess of $1 million; previous academic medical center fundraising experience highly desirable; understanding of how to manage a portfolio of rated prospects; familiarity with all facets of development, including capital campaigns; able to forge new relationships with donors and steward long term relationships; direct experience in supporting capital campaign volunteers; and excellent organization and communication skills.
