Major Gifts Officer

UC Davis Health System in Sacramento is seeking a Major Gift Officer to be responsible for managing all aspects of a comprehensive development program in support of the Cancer Center mission and strategic plan. Incumbent will also be responsible for implementing and managing local and national fundraising programs and activities for the UC Davis Health System NCI Designated Cancer Center, completing an initiative goal of $30 million in the next three years and overseeing all other cancer fundraising efforts.

Successful candidates will have professional experience in a comprehensive development program (minimum three years preferred) in the field of health sciences and/or higher education, a proven track record n major gifts ($25,000 and above) and capital campaign fund raising; an understanding of medical center programs, a demonstrated ability to develop and manage volunteer boards. Event experience is strongly desired.
