Associate Director, Foundation and Corporate Relations

For more than 100 years, Lighthouse International has been enabling people of all ages who are blind or partially sighted to lead independent and productive lives. Lighthouse International is a leading resource worldwide on vision impairment and vision rehabilitation. We currently have an opening for an Associate Director, Foundation and Corporate Relations in our Foundations and Corporate Relations Department.

Reporting to the Director, Foundation and Corporate Relations, the Associate Director will be responsible for renewing and upgrading the Lighthouse foundation and corporate foundation portfolio by:

• Writing proposals and other materials for use in fundraising efforts
• Collaborating with other departments/staff to gather information and support quality proposal development
• Managing donor cultivation, proposal submission, stewardship and recognition process
• Researching and identifying prospective funders

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree and a minimum of 5 years of donor proposal development, stewardship process and grant writing experience. In addition the Associate Director must have knowledge of MS Office and Raiser's Edge with a proven track record of success raising funds through grantsmanship.
