The National Kidney Foundation (NKF) is a NYC-based, 58 year old, national health organization that is a global leader in education, research, patient care and advocacy on behalf of individuals with chronic kidney disease, transplant recipients, and organ donors NKF seeks experienced professional responsible for identifying, cultivating and soliciting major gifts.
Responsibilities include: Identifying and cultivating prospective donors, designing strategies and soliciting major gifts. Work closely with the Board of Directors, high profile volunteers, and staff. Frequent travel is a priority in this position, as well as flexibility in work hours to include evenings as needed to accomplish objectives and satisfy goals.
The ideal candidate must have 10 years of progressive fund raising experience in a voluntary organization with a proven track record in major gifts. Bachelor’s degree in business management of related field.
