Executive Director, The Lincy Institute

The Lincy Institute at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas is searching for a visionary leader with national stature and strong strategic and managerial skills to be the founding Executive Director for a new institute in community and urban research and analysis. The Executive Director will create a new model for bringing together federal, state, regional, and city entities that can be replicated in other communities. Reporting through the Vice President for Research to the Executive Vice President and Provost, the Executive Director will be the voice of an innovative, high-profile institute supporting the economic future of Nevada and the quality of life for residents in Southern Nevada. Founded in 2009, The Institute is destined to become an internationally renowned organization dedicated to improving the lives of the people in Southern Nevada. The successful applicant will have a distinguished national record in public policy with experience appropriate for an institute director. Preference given to candidates with experience leading major foundations and/or governmental agencies.
