Vice President Resource Development

World Neighbors, an international community development organization working in Asia, Africa and Latin America/Caribbean, is seeking an enthusiastic and highly experienced fundraiser to fill the vice president resource development position.

As primary fundraiser, this person will be responsible for developing and implementing a fundraising strategy to meet annual and long-term needs while providing leadership to resource development department and cultivating sustainable relationships with donors, grant makers and other funding entities.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years experience in nonprofit leadership and fundraising, preferably with an international organization, along with a background in major gifts, planned giving, direct mail, capital campaigns and grants and fluency in a second language.

The position is located in Oklahoma City. Applications will be accepted through March 15, 2012 with anticipated start date July 1, 2012.
