Mile High Youth Corps - Case Manager, College and Transitions
Summary: The Case Manager: College and Transitions oversees transition and support case management for youth participating in Corps programs, with an emphasis on post-secondary education placement and long-term success. The Case Manager: College and Transitions is responsible for preparing Corpsmembers for post-secondary education and following up to ensure successful retention in post-secondary education. This position is also responsible for maintaining documentation requirements and data input for various grants affecting the program. Reports to the Career Developer and YouthBuild Senior Program Manager.
Qualifications
Education: Four-year college degree in career counseling, psychology, sociology or a related field. Significant professional experience in a related field may be substituted for post-secondary education.
Experience:
- Minimum three years working as a case manager or a related position with responsibility for managing the documentation for multiple funding streams and oversight of 50+ youth on caseload.
- Experience working directly with, including classroom facilitation with, a diverse youth population; preferably ages 18-24.
- Minimum one year experience implementing a post-secondary education transition and preparation program preferred.
