Program Assistant, Making Connections Indianapolis
Making Connections Indianapolis (MCIndy), a partner of Central Indiana Community Foundation, is seeking an experienced program assistant to provide coordination and administrative support for the resident engagement and leadership strategy for MCIndy. He or she will assist the site team, residents, and community partners with civic engagement and leadership through services, education, resources, programs, and partnerships.
Candidates must have excellent organizational skills, time management skills, consensus building and collaboration skills, and verbal and written communication skills. The ability to interact effectively with a variety of people is essential as well as familiarity with community organizing principals. MCIndy is interested in candidates who are self-starters, flexible, and creative. This position requires punctuality, dependability, responsibility, good judgment, and attention to detail. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in education, social service, or a related field, with at least five years of experience in a similar position.
