CHEST/HUnter College - Project Manager
Project Manager: A full-time position for a NIH-funded longitudinal research study examining medication adherence, aspects of substance use, and spirituality among older adults with HIV in New York City.
Responsibilities:
-
Assisting with on-going project coordination
-
Perform varied tasks related to qualitative and quantitative data collection, analyses, and interpretation
-
Supervision and training of other research staff, interns, and volunteers
-
Assistance in project planning
-
Direct contact with research participants via interviews, assessments, and screening
-
Scheduling of participants
-
Delivery of qualitative and quantitative assessments
-
Participant tracking
-
Assistance in the dissemination of research findings via conference presentations, reports, literature reviews and manuscripts
-
Data tracking and management
-
Assist with outreach and recruitment
-
Other duties as assigned
Knowledge of:
-
Research methodology
-
Statistics and statistical software - SPSS
-
Older adults, HIV/AIDS, sexual health, substance use/abuse preferred
-
Data entry, data management, data analysis
-
Interviews & Assessments (qualitative & quantitative)
-
Writing and data analysis experience
Requirements:
-
A minimum of a BA in the behavioral/social sciences or public health with at least one-year research experience with Research coordination/project management. Masters level preferred.
