Development Associate, Individual Giving

Primary Stages – an award-winning nonprofit Off-Broadway theater company dedicated to inspiring, supporting and sharing the art of playwriting – seeks a full time Development Associate, Individual Giving. Now in its 28th season, Primary Stages continues to be recognized for developing and producing new work and professional training opportunities offered through its Einhorn School of Performing Arts (ESPA). The Associate will support the organization’s research, cultivation, and stewardship of individual donors. Work closely with senior staff of the organization to create and implement fundraising strategies, special events, and increase the individual donor base. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a professional nonprofit organization, and a proven interest in arts fundraising. Must be detail oriented, motivated, creative, posses excellent written and inter-personal communication skills and a strong commitment to fundraising.
