Callen-Lorde Community Health Center - Study Coordinator
Callen-Lorde Community Health Center (CLCHC) is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse PrEP Study Coordinator (LPNPSC). This person will be responsible for coordinating a NIH-funded research study that will develop and test an intervention designed to integrate HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) delivery and support into a comprehensive HIV prevention package delivered at CLCHC. We are looking for an individual with strong organizational skills, clinical research experience, and creative problem-solving abilities. This person will oversee study operations at CLCHC, and will work closely with the collaborating PI and research team at Hunter College. This position reports to the Director of Research and Education.
Responsibilities

Coordination of on-site research activities
-
Participation in the development and implementation of protocols for participant recruitment, scheduling, retention, and tracking

Direct contact with patients and research participants via assessment, screening, and intervention delivery

Data tracking and management
-
Collaboration in long-term and short-term project planning
-
Supervision and training of other research staff
-
Assistance in the dissemination of research findings via conference presentations, reports, literature reviews, and manuscripts
Qualifications:
-
New York State LPN License
-
Experience in research implementation, data entry, management, and analysis

Strong Computer Competency
-
Excellent written and oral communication skills
-
Ability to multi-task and excellent attention to detail

Commitment to the mission of Callen-Lorde

Ability to work within team-based structure
-
Current CPR certification
-
Experience serving the LGBTQ community
-
Interest and commitment to HIV prevention and care
-
Two years experience in an out-patient clinical setting preferred

Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
Work Schedule/Salary:
Callen-Lorde is open Monday through Saturday. Some evening hours are required. Salary will depend on experience and will be accompanied by an excellent benefits package, including individual medical, dental and vision insurance, life insurance, short- and long-term disability insurance, generous vacation/leave time, and optional 401K/403B plan.
