Responsibilities
-
Oversee and manage all aspects and components of fundraising events including children's/family event, Young Professional's group and other assigned events in the Distinguished Events department.

Manage, evaluate and expand volunteer participation for each event. Must be a team player that has the ability to interface with all levels of staff and volunteers. Must develop, maintain and utilize relationships and have capability to leverage relationships.
- Manage, evaluate and expand fundraising. Develop and recommend strategies for fundraising events to sustain continued growth. Seek out new corporate and individual sponsors and develop plans to explore new revenue opportunities.

Manage and maintain accurate and complete financial records, data entry and tax letters for assigned events.

Manage timelines and budgets. Ensure that tasks are completed on time and within budget. Manage budget and control expenses effectively with an eye on revenue growth and expense reduction opportunities.

Perform other duties as assigned by his/her immediate supervisor.
Qualifications
Strong project management and administrative skills in a multi-task environment. Ability to set priorities, be self-motiviated and take initiative in management of both day-to-day workload and ongoing projects.-
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Comfort interacting with Board Members and volunteers both in person, on the phone and electronically.

Understanding of computer systems and databases. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

An Associate Degree is required. 5+ years of relevant fundraising, strategic planning and coordinating special event experience. Must have supervisory experience and volunteer management experience.
