PND Connections - Increase in High-Speed Internet Connections
A new report by the Pew Internet & American Life Project finds that the numbers of Internet users opting for high-speed connections is growing. According to the survey, 55 percent of American Internet users age eighteen and over have access to broadband at home or at work, and fully 39 percent have high-speed access at home. Broadband use at home has grown 60 percent since March 2003, with half that growth coming since November 2003.
