PND Connections - ePhilanthropy Foundation's Code of Ethics Test

The ePhilanthropy Foundation, a nonprofit organization that promotes secure, private, and ethical use of the Internet for philanthropic purposes, has created an online ethics test to help charitable groups examine the policies guiding their online fundraising efforts and related practices. After answering fifteen questions, test takers receive a report that identifies their strengths and weaknesses based on ePhilanthropy's Code of Ethical Online Philanthropic Practices. Visitors can also submit individual ethics questions to ePhilanthropy through a form on its Web site. In addition to the ethics resources, the site features tips for Web-based giving, online fundraising and marketing courses, and links to other nonprofit resources. Launched in 2001, ePhilanthropy is supported by a coalition of nonprofit and for-profit organizations, including the W.K. Kellogg Foundation and the Time Warner Foundation.
