KLCC Bridge, the online newsletter of the Kellogg Leadership for Community Change program, highlights the program's efforts to develop shared and individual leadership skills in six communities across the United States. The most recent issue (14 pages, HTML) focuses on KLCC fellows and alumni who are working with South Texas youth on projects designed to educate area residents about health issues, teach technology skills, and help nonprofit leaders write better grant proposals. Other articles present best practices from the Institute for Educational Leadership, one of the partner agencies in the KLCC Coordinating Organization; an interview with KLCC fellow Lavonne Ansari; and excerpts from a report by the Center for Assessment and Policy Development on message development in the child and family policy arena.
