The Council on Foundations' Community Foundations Leadership Team sets strategic direction and policy for the community foundation field, serves as a communications hub, provides useful products and services to community foundations, and launches and supports initiatives in the field. The Council has released its 2003 Report to the Community Foundation Field (20 pages, PDF), introducing the team members and providing an overview of the group's activities and accomplishments. The report also discusses the team's activities and special projects in several priority areas, including emerging issues, legal and legislative advocacy, national standards and effective practices, professional and organizational development, national marketing, technology, and financial institution partnerships.
