PND Connections - For the Greater Good: Frameworks for Advancing State Arts Education Partnerships
A successful arts education program at the state level relies on the skills and expertise of various public and private organizations, including state arts agencies, state departments of education, and nonprofit arts alliances. A new report from the National Assembly of State Arts Agencies examines the growing demand for arts education and the emerging framework for building state arts education programs through partnerships. For the Greater Good: Frameworks for Advancing State Arts Education Partnerships (61 pages, MS Word) draws on the experience of arts education collaborations in Florida, Hawaii, Mississippi, Ohio, and South Carolina, to provide a resource for other states working to advance arts education. The report is part of NASAA's Arts Education Leadership Network Initiative, funded by the David and Lucile Packard Foundation.
