Online Coverage of XVIII International AIDS Conference
The International AIDS Society and the Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation are making available, via the Kaiser Foundation's Global Health Gateway, a wide variety of online resources related to the XVIII International AIDS Conference, which takes place July 18-23 in Vienna, Austria. The resources include more than fifty Webcasts of conference sessions, including those featuring former U.S. President Bill Clinton, South African Deputy President Kgalema Motlanthe, South African Health Minister Aaron Motsoaledi, and Bill Gates, as well as live Webcasts of the conference's opening and closing sessions. Also available are podcasts in English and Russian, daily video recaps of conference developments with Science magazine's Jon Cohen, and an enhanced version of Kaiser's Daily Global Health Policy Report, which will include summaries of what the global media are reporting from the conference and original recaps of information that may not be covered elsewhere.
