Health

May Health Tracking Poll The Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation has issued the results of its May Health Tracking Poll, which was based on a nationally representative sample of more than 1,200 adults. The poll found that confusion over the new health reform bill has declined but remains widespread, with 44 percent of individuals saying they are confused about the legislation (compared to 55 percent in April) and some 35 percent saying they don't understand the impact of the legislation on themselves or their families. At the same time, Americans remain divided over the bill, with 41 percent holding favorable views of the legislation, 44 percent holding unfavorable views, and 14 percent undecided or unsure. The poll also found that cable news continued to top the list of the public's "most important" sources of news about the legislation, with 30 percent of respondents saying they rely on cable news more than any other news source.
