Interactive Tobacco Map
A new interactive map created by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation gives policy makers and anti-smoking advocates a vivid picture of continuing state efforts related to tobacco control. The map uses data collected by Americans for Nonsmokers' Rights and the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids on smoke-free restaurant, bar, and workplace laws; cigarette tax rates; and the percent of state funding spent on tobacco control efforts relative to CDC recommendations. By toggling various category tabs, users can see how these factors have changed in the states since 1998.
