Women, Power and Politics
Launched on International Women's Day 2008, the International Museum of Women's online exhibit Women, Power and Politics shares previously untold stories of women around the world claiming and exercising power. Available in Arabic, English, French, and Spanish, the stories on topics such as democracy, religion, and appearance include Madame Mao, Blogging About Sarah Palin, and What Women Voters Want. The site also offers video stories, maps of issues that affect women's lives, a timeline of women's political history, a supplementary toolkit, and podcasts featuring author Alice Walker, Afghanistan Parliament member Malalai Joya, and other women of note.
